Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Lake Erie Pulse account and all associated personal data at any time. There are two ways to do it.
Option 1: Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open the Lake Erie Pulse app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account and data are removed immediately.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
Email info@lakeeriepulse.com from the email address on your account, with the subject line "Delete My Account." We will verify the request and permanently delete your account within 30 days, and email you to confirm when it is done.
What data is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes all of the following:
- Your name, email address, and login credentials
- Your home port, saved watercraft, and favorite destinations
- Saved trips and trip plans
- Saved and favorited boat listings
- Any boat listings you created
- Your alert and email preferences
What data is kept, and for how long
Once your account is deleted, we do not retain your personal profile data. Residual copies may remain in encrypted, secured backups for up to 30 days, after which they are automatically and permanently purged.
We may retain a minimal, anonymized record of a deletion request (with no personal identifiers) only where required to comply with legal obligations or to prevent fraud and abuse. This data cannot be used to identify you.
Note: Lake Erie Pulse can be used without an account for live conditions, forecasts, alerts, live cams, and the trip planner. Deleting your account does not affect your ability to keep using those features.
