Rockin' on the River 2026: Full Schedule Released — 18 Shows at Black River Landing
Lorain's signature summer concert series is back for another season on the Black River. Rockin' on the River 2026 runs 18 shows from June 5 through September 18 at Black River Landing — and this year's lineup is loaded.

The series features tribute acts and regional bands across rock, country, disco, pop, and blues. Shows are held outdoors on the river with food vendors, drinks, and views of the Black River and Lake Erie harbor.
New This Season
Women's Restroom Facility — A dedicated 10-station women's restroom trailer with climate control and private stalls is being added for 2026, upgrading the concert experience.
Special Event: Patriots Symphonic Band
Before the regular season kicks off, Black River Landing hosts the Patriots Symphonic Band on Sunday, June 14 from 2:00–3:30 PM. Conducted by Dr. John Knight, the band delivers quality entertainment in the American concert band tradition. A great way to start the summer at the river.

The season opens June 5 with Disco Inferno bringing the dance floor and 1988 closing out with rock. The following two weeks bring an AC/DC tribute and a Bruno Mars tribute — setting the tone for the summer.
July — The Heart of the Season

Highlights: The July 3–4 back-to-back is a great weekend — KISS tribute eve of the 4th, then country on the holiday itself. July 17–18 is another double-header with Eagles/Heart tributes on Thursday and Boy Band Review plus an Almost Taylor (Swift) tribute on Friday. Queen Nation on July 24 is always a crowd favorite.

The big one: Chris Lane headlines September 4. The Nashville recording artist brings national-level country to Black River Landing — easily the marquee booking of the 2026 season. Thanks to the generous support of the Lorain County Visitors Bureau, ticket prices for the Chris Lane show are being kept lower than typical national acts, making this special event more accessible for the entire community.
The series wraps September 18 with Bad JuJu and Old Skool sending the season off right.
Tips for Going
- Arrive early for the best spots near the stage. Popular shows fill up fast.
- Bring a chair or blanket — it's outdoor seating on the lawn and paved areas.
- Food and drinks are available from vendors on-site. Outside coolers may have restrictions — check the website.
- Parking fills up on big nights. Consider arriving by boat if you're on the water — Black River Landing has dock access.
